I've been dealing with this guy for 3 weeks, the delay is unacceptable, please tell me how to pay and lets get the deal done.

Hello, thank you for your response

Let me start by welcoming you to DN.ca (y)

I would suggest you peruse the site to familiarize yourself with the value of one word domains. An offer is not a deal, at no time did I insinuate we had a deal. May I suggest going to a two word domain to get into budget.

If you have any further questions you can reach me via private message to discuss :)

Give me a break, i've increased the offer 3 times, nobody will pay more than 45,ooo for the name, i'm a paying customer and you need to take it seriously before I go someplace else.

I can assure you I take every offer seriously but as I stated in our communications, it would take a serious investment to acquire this domain.

As far as going somewhere else...You can get creative by adding a second word to reach your target audience.

Good luck, if you need help picking a domain name you can always open a topic and ask advice from the member base.

As someone who has bought, sold and brokered more 6-figure .ca domain names than most (more than I can count on two hands), I can assure you that a 6-figure ask on this domain isn't unreasonable at all.

That's not to say your offer is a joke or anything, $50K shows you are serious, and I'm sure the seller is taking you seriously. There's just a gap between your valuation and his, which may be insurmountable. That's just business, clearly the seller is fine with walking away from the offer, you can't force anyone to sell something for the price you want to buy it for. And I can assure you no amount of badgering or attempts at public shaming is going to change anything. I've negotiated some domains for years before culminating in a sale, so a few weeks is nothing, in fact it would be very rare to have a significant sale like this occur in less than 3 weeks.

Also understand that every valuation depends on your circumstances. For your business, I get it, maybe it isn't worth 6-figures. But for another business, maybe it is. You can only make the best offer you can based on your circumstances. The same is true for the seller, he will negotiate based on his circumstances. Sometimes a buyer can get lucky and find a seller who needs a sale and is therefore more willing to lower expectations on their ROI. In this case you have a seller who doesn't need the money, therefore he's not going to be as willing to lower their ROI expectations.

Maybe turn your offer into the down payment and then offer payments to cover the shortfall?

Or look for a different domain as the seller has suggested. There are probably some good "pink" alternatives for much less. Pinker.ca ? Pinks.ca ? GoPink.ca ?
